Kwality brand owner Pure Ice Cream invests in new Dubai factory

Pure Ice Cream, the owner of the popular Kwality brand and part of India’s Graviss Group, has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art ice cream manufacturing facility in Dubai Industrial City. The project represents a significant investment of Dh80 million ($21.7 million) and is expected to boost the company’s production capabilities and create substantial local employment opportunities.
Located within the food and beverage zone of Dubai Industrial City, a complex operational since 2004, the facility will cover a sprawling 160,000 square feet on a 246,000 square-foot plot. Once operational, the new plant will dramatically increase Pure Ice Cream’s annual production capacity by 300%, enabling the production of 30 million liters of ice cream annually.
The factory is expected to be fully operational by 2026 and will generate approximately 300 jobs, providing a boost to the local economy. The initiative underscores the Graviss Group’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the Middle East, leveraging Dubai’s strategic location and world-class infrastructure to cater to growing regional demand for frozen desserts.
